Marcus Scheibmaier, born 1967 in Vienna, Austria, started to play piano at age 6. He learned the piano-basics at The Konservatorium Margareten in Vienna and, after he moved to Belgium, he studied at the Jazzstudio in Antwerp.

He started composing music at age 14 and never stopped until this day.

 

His compositions are imbued with melancholy and reflect his inner quest for peace and harmony. He captures memories and processes them in a unique way, creating an unpredictable blend of sounds—a rare aesthetic in contemporary music. His work offers a remarkable combination of emotional depth and artistic refinement, inviting the listener into an intense, personal experience.
